Este gráfico muestra la distancia léxica (es decir, el grado de divergencia global del vocabulario) entre las principales lenguas de Europa.
El tamaño de cada círculo representa el número de hablantes de cada lengua. Los círculos del mismo color pertenecen al mismo grupo de lenguas. Todos los grupos excepto las ugrofinesas (en amarillo) son, a su vez, miembros de la familia de lenguas Indoeuropeas.

This chart shows the lexical distance — that is, the degree of overall vocabulary divergence — among the major languages of Europe.
The size of each circle represents the number of speakers for that language. Circles of the same color belong to the same language group. All the groups except for Finno-Ugric (in yellow) are in turn members of the Indo-European language family.
